But I must tell you Sam that I have shot better in exactly the same circumstances with a lousy 2x converter on my Sony V-3 and they have a lot more detail and sharpness!

Pierre,

it's always a gamble how such shots turn out.

Everything was moving, the light was rather low.

I've better shots in the same folder, though.

I've reworked this one, using the RAW file instead of the JPG, which I quickly worked on while still on the ship.

I've attached the result. Let's see, what we think now of the difference.
