Wow J, this is an incredibly moody and dramatic B&W capture. The vignetting and frame help the eye to focus on this intense interaction between the set of large, bare trees and the shorter pines. There's a fantastic interplay between the space and size/width of the trees. Almost as if the larger trees are attacking or threatening the smaller ones. I like how the first pine is actually leaning back, as if away from the larger tree.

A fascinating shot with incredible dynamics. Keep up the amazing work J. I'd rate this a 6/7.

Beautiful image, but the grey snow always bothering me.

Very good post processing. A pleasing composition, with good blur where needed, making it look old, and good texture in the sky.
