The Round Table at Winchester Cathedral?  Supposed home to Arthur and his Knights.  Unfortunately for me, E6 @ ISO 100 did not come out near as nice.

Hi Gregory

Not the Cathedral but all that remains of the old castle. The Cathedral is well worth a visit.

This shot works fine for me. Not ever being to England and visiting such places  makes the adventurer in me long to go. I think it's a good capture and the available light certainly was working for you. Beautiful arches and columns, and anything about King Arthur fascinates me.

So many stories and movies exist, and still the 'subject' never seems to 'tire people'. I hope this place is here for many years to come. When I think of what is going on in England at the moment it greatly saddens me, I can't imagine it.  The world is in turmoil unfortunately. It must be very scary not just for the adults but the children are whom I worry most for.

My prayers seem to take longer these days.

Great capture reminding me of all the novels I read as a teenager, my love of the tales of King Arthur remain favorites.

Kind regards Bill...........Gail
