Hi Engela,

I like the "high key" presentation here.

The combination of the lens, f-stop, exposure and processing employed provides a pleasant "soft-look " to Nicole.

Well composed and shot.

Best Regards,  Mike

They eyes are very engaging, as they should be. I find the left arm a little to dominating in the space, that said it is a wonderful portrait thta shows a wonderful relationship between photographer and subject. well done.

Thank you very much for your continuous support.  I always enjoy your comments, views and  the technical comments.  I am not so familiar with all the technical stuff and most that I have learned on this site came from your "pen"!  I thank you for that.

Kind regards,

Engela

I think Uncle Mike answered your question!  It's called "high key"...

I played around with the exposure and lighting and raised the midtones and highlights but downtoned the contrast.  New field for me...

Thank you for stopping by and for the nice comments.  You are right when you say that I played around with the lighting.  Because this is an unknown area for me, it took me quite some time to accomplish this!

Kind regards,

Engela

Thank you so much for your opinion.  I had a hard time with this little model. Some people are photogenic and others are not...

I tried several shots with her, but almost none were up to standard.  She got tired after a while and that was when I took this shot!

Kind regards,

Engela
