mg 0 Posted May 19, 2003 I think you have a good idea and a good subject here, and they match. What you may need is to sophisticate a bit the contrast and colors. I'm not too sure what the original looks like, and it seems you perhaps added contrast on the foreground. But when I look at the main subject's hands and at this person's face, I feel the contrast is perhaps too strong. The second problem I have is that the background colors - especially that red shirt - are too vivid. I'd suggest overlapping a desaturated layer of this image on top of the color version, then play with the opacity of this desaturated layer till the background colors appear half desaturated, then delete that the part of that top layer that runs on the foreground area. The end result should be quite nice - imo. Best regards. Link to comment
