Well, let's see, the grey colouring is nice... Oh, wait, were we supposed to critique the cat or the photo? :)

 

Seriously, unless you have one funny looking cat, that perspective is out of whack. I'm no expert, but I know how much you zoom the lens affects distortion of facial features.

 

The lighting is nice, though. I like how it sort of curves around the cat. Might want to try and get the tail all the way in next time.

Hi, I just wanted to tell everyone..as far as the comment about the lense causing 'distortion' of the cats face.... Believe it or not...there is NO distortion. The cat is an called an Oriental and he looks exactly the same as the picture in real life!

Really? Well, I do apologize, then. I meant no offense to your cat. I honestly thought it was some sort of distortion.

 

I do stick by my feeling that the tail would be better completely in the photo. :)

It's unfortunate that the tail is cut off. I like the distinct look of the cat as it adds visual interest. I like the positioning of the paws. For fun I might like to see what happens when you intentionally distorty this cat with a wide-angle lens. By the way - he is unique and adorable.

Ooh, this is a great one! I love bathtub kitty photos. Just needs to be a little sharper? I think I like the tail being cut off, would be nice to see one with it to compare. It adds to the odd/distorted feel. Your guys are gorgeous. love orientals :-)
