You know, this is a beautiful machine but a few tips for automotive photography.  (I have done calendar and automotive magazine work)  For a portrait like this, hood down.  Also, the other vehicles pull the attention from the subject. Note how the edge of the green fender is missing by cropping out the yellow car.

What I like, the angle (POV) you chose is flawless, and the brick pavers make for incredibly wonderful location to shoot a vehicle.

Thomas, thanks for taking the time. I agree that the bricks make the photo, as for the POV I just got lucky I rarely shoot the whole car, cotent to shoot details. As for the background this is something I had no control over and I couldn't find the owner to lower the hood. Not sure that would have occured to me anyway. This is a small local car show that happens monthly about 100 yards away from my house. I had prefect light this evening with a gray overcast sky so I took advantage and grabbed a few shots...glad you  like it, thanks for the tips
