photodonn 0 Posted July 18, 2011 Truly spectacular, they almost look like stone statues placed in the grass. This is such an outstanding moment. It's hard to imagine a better wildlife image, you must have been thrilled to be there and get it. You have several excellent images of these beasts squaring off, but to me this one transcends the rest. Congratulations, great, great work. Link to comment
petershans 0 Posted July 18, 2011 A great shot taken at the right moment. The only tiny thing I would change is the grass. Just a bit darker makes it stand out more against the background, enhancing the depth.cheers, hans Link to comment

mariussabo 0 Posted July 18, 2011 Thanks You all for Your comments!I must say this was not an easy task. In the last 2 years I've tried many times to capture such images with alpine ibex in action.Alpine ibex photos?! No problem. Action alpine ibex?! Well, this is a problem. I have only a 70-200 Lens (this was taken with it + Canon 5D Mark II) and I have to come really near.It works ... with patience and many attempts. Link to comment
photodonn 0 Posted July 18, 2011 Well worth the effort! And, while you are forced to be close, you get the most enjoyable experience of _being_ close. Good for you!!! Link to comment
