GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted July 11, 2011 Beautiful image, lovely tonal range. The only thing I can't figure out ...is what is that object in the upper left half (looks like an IVORY 'sacrifice' type of object'. I'd really like to know what it is, as I don't want to misunder stand the image...thanks so much Gail. Kind regards, Gail Link to comment
berenos 0 Posted July 11, 2011 Prefectly executed. I really love the contrast between the white lines made by the blurred water and the generally dark mood. Link to comment
kahkityoong 0 Posted July 11, 2011 Hi Gail, I think the object in the distance you're referring to is another sea stack. Thanks all for you comments. Link to comment
eye2eyephoto 0 Posted July 16, 2011 Hello!! :o)I wanted to make you aquainted with a page I've created on Facebook for professional photographers to share their work and ideas, much like we do here on photo.netAs a matter of fact, this contact is because THIS image was chosen as "photo of the day" today. We're running a theme this month regarding greyscale and holding tonal values in monochromatic photography, and I just loved this as another example. Please accept our humble thanks for letting us grace our page with your wonderful image, and please also accept our invitation to join us!Here is the link to the page, just in case you're already involved in facebook. If not, perhaps now is a great time to do that!!https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Professional-Photographers-Page/176691282373219Thanks for your time.. and thanks for such wonderful work!!Jack BlakePage Owner: The Professional Photographer's Page on Facebook andEye2Eye: Imagination to Imagery Link to comment
