andrzejp 7 Posted July 9, 2011 I followed Sumon Mukherjee advise and used more negative space. Let me know what do you think. Link to comment
daveinwilton 1 Posted July 9, 2011 Personally, I like the more negative space to our right, though there may be too much space above her head (an 8x12 instead?). Just my opinion, others may vary. A very beautiful capture, and she portrays a lot of emotion into the image. Thank you for sharing. Best regards...-Dave Link to comment
paulcasagrande 0 Posted July 9, 2011 Sono d'accordo con gli amici sopra,in piu a mio vedere, troppo nero assoluto !non crea profondità ,ed è un peccato, perche la foto è bella. ciao paul Link to comment
sweeterimage 0 Posted July 10, 2011 I have to agree with Bill. I think the diagonal lines work better in the original, rather than trying to make it a rule-of-thirds crop. The extra space on the right gives it a bit of a sense of mystery.Overall, an evocative and well executed image. Link to comment
randallfarhy 0 Posted July 11, 2011 Andrew, perhaps a touch more negative space on the bottom, of the original. The model's reflection feels crowded there, but the rest of the image is balanced very well. I suppose it's all about personal taste. Very nice work. Link to comment
andrzejp 7 Posted July 12, 2011 Dave, Paule, William, Steve, Leonardo and Randall, Thank you very much for your thoughts and suggestions. It seems that we all agree! Randall, I did not use more negative space at the bottom since I did not wanted to add an extra element of symetry, but I think that it would work fine. Thanks to people like you photo.net is a great place to be. sumon_mukherjee 0 Posted July 13, 2011 To me, this one is definitely better. The original one was bolder but this one is more artistic. Best regards. Link to comment
