very fine abstract, and would much powerful if you have cloned the seeds at the right upper corner with or without that lower directed frond at the base.

very fine.

Lovely colours and composition the fan like fronds making a great abstract. I do agree with Saad though about the upper right being a bit of a distraction in an other wise perfect composition. I have cropped the image slightly and cloned out some of the top right colour. I don't normally alter anyones image without permission, but took the liberty in this case because I thought it had excellent potential and I would find it difficult to convey my thoughts without example. I hope you don't mind.

Kind Regards

Alf

I love the concept and composition, but agree with simplifying the shot by cloning the top right and the stem at bottom left.  Very creative eye!

Alf, has done a nice job of cloning out the top in that he has maintained most of the lovely curves. it would have been  less work to just crop to bottom of flower, but would have lost those  curves and to me their a big part of why this image works as well as it does. have to say i am in agreement with Sam about the stem bottom left. with it removed i think would not be a lot more one could do to show this flower at its best. a nice collaborative piece of work here well done to all who contributed to it!

thank you very much for all your input and support. Thank you, Alf, for stepping in and improving the picture. I am honoured, that all of you spent your time discussing it.  I was debating too how to crop, and left the seeds, thinking, that how would anybody know that it was dill? Ok, we can make wrong decisions sometimes :). Thank you , Pierre, for understanding what thought was behind the picture.

My warmest regards to all of you. Tamara
