I like your composition and crop with this one and the lovely bejeweled strand of spider web. A colorful fairyland presented in dramatic fashion.

I alway liked Fuschia's, upside down flowers always have been appealing to me, so wrong, yet so right : - )  I love the nice soft colours here and as Jack mentioned the bejeweled gassamer strand of the spiders web. Beautifully done Michel!

Best Regards

Jack and Alf are so much more articulate than I am. "Bejeweled strand of spiders web"... such a beautiful description. The fuschia blossom is lovely but that little bit of web with the water droplets makes this enchanting. Very nice! Congratulations.

Cheers,

Linda

a radiant hoop skirt of folds and florishes that scarlet o'hara would be delighted to don. made even more arresting by the fragile filigree of a spider. notice also the fine cherry-like orbs of rouge in the background. altogether an exceptional floral study!

An excellent series thus far Michel! I've never seen these flowers before.  Gorgeous colors, and interesting orientation! Superb capture with the drops on the spider web. My only complaint would be the slightly cutoff petal on the left of the foreground flower. Other than that it's eye pleasing perfection!

All the best,
Neil

Michel, this one is even nicer than the first one, really nice the perceived distance from focal flower to that dream time b/g. excellent work, well done!

Thank you all for your visit and kind words.  I appreciate the time each one of you took to write your thoughts

Jack: it’s always a privilege to read your comments.  Thank you for your support and encouragement

Alf: I agree upside down flowers have a strange appeal to me too. It reminds me a bit of the state of my mind sometimes when I think I do my best thinking when I go against the order of things.

Linda: thank you for your continuing support and encouragement.  I’m glad you like this image.

Radu: thank you for your kind words.  Sometimes when I take photos of flowers such as this one I feel I’m cheating because all I do is capture something that is already beautiful.

Patsy: the lighting was simply the natural light from a rather cloudy morning shortly after sunrise.  The light is naturally diffused and soft.  Not much effort on my part.

Christopher: I’m quite flattered that my image inspires such poetry as yours and Jack’s.  The “cherry-like orbs of rouge” are young yet unopened buds.  I thought that including them into the image brought a more interesting background and showed also a

Neil; I agree with your comment about the lightly cut off petal. I didn’t remember cropping this image but I re-checked with my original just to make sure and unfortunately there is no space on the left side.  I can only think that this happens because I was trying to compose this with the flower slightly off center. Chalk that one off to experience…Thanks for your visit, your constructive comment and your continued support.

Roger: thank you for your kind words.  Much appreciated.
