Very good portrait. One quibble is the white pillar behind her head. You caught her expression very well. Best regards. Michael

Ivan, I think a touch of PS is justified here, removing the white aeras would improve the picture.

Ivan, I really like this portrait. I agree with removing the out of focus white areas, specifically the one above her head. The stone rail is close enough to the edge of the frame that its slight slant is accentuated...might be worth playing with image rotation if not desired. Minor nit-picking, but I think this image is worth the extra effort.

Ivan - Focus, exposure, composition/cropping, subject matter, style, mood - A+. Distracting background - a reason to go back for another photo session. If only I could do as well. - Ken

I think I like the distracting background. It gives the background a really smooth touch, giving the picture an even better feel of the girls expression.

Ivan, A lovely portrait, the 'eyes-locked-on-camera' making it more intimate. Great expression. Subject placement in the frame very good and shallow depth of field keeps attention on her. I agree that the white patch behind her and on her lower right could use a little PS to elevate this shot to a higher plateau. Best, LM.

This is a good one. Excellent DOF, sepia also works nice However, I agree, it's better to clone out this white spot behind her head

Please be not afraid of my comment/critique.

I'm pretty istinctive and i don't like thinking too much about look at image. I prefer "feel".

Ivan, it's a pity that this fine portrait has been spoiled by careless afterwork in Photoshop. I'm surprised that nobody else has commented on the jagged edges of the sleeve on the right, as well as the 'halo' around her head. These are both signs of inexpertly handled gaussian blur - I know because I had similar problems till I got it right. I'd be willing to let you know how to avoid these problems if you like. For my taste the gaussian blur is overdone.I'm not sure but did you cut and paste the figure onto a different background?

A great portrait Ivan! the white blurred background behind the hat makes a kind of surnatural halo above the head that fits very well the whole attitude and look.
