If you are in Sedona and are pressed for time, this seems to be as

close to a bullet-proof location as it gets. In a way, it is a

"classic" view of the Cathedral Rock across Oak Canyon Creek. Saw it

many times in various books and calendars. So I guess it is

understandable that when I visited Sedona this year in April, I simply

could not resist and decided to give it a try. It was probably the

quickest shot in this trip: 15 min, in and out.

The evening was very enjoyable, it was crisp but not too cold. Even

saw a couple of people wading into the water. The wind was on the

strong side but since I was sheltered by the vegetation it was manageable.

I like the final outcome and hope that you do too. Please drop me a

line with comments and suggestions.

Cheers,

Ralph

Very nice one Ralph. Would a square format be more effective here? Because the left and right portion of the scene are almost under dark and are not really adding to its beauty. Just an opinion. All the best.

Somnath

I love this image.  I have visited Sedona once, but did not get to this location. I love the image just as you have it here.

Hi Ralph, this is a beautiful image, love the lighting and the sky with nice composition. Have not been to Sedona yet, it is on my list of places to visit.  Great Capture!
