Many Thanks for your interest and kind words, much appreciated! We are all learning, when we stop learning, we stagnate, and when we stagnate we are in danger of going backwards. But photography is a subject of such depth and variation, that even the most knowledgable person can still learn. I'm pleased to say I'm still learning too.

Best Regards

I always think of you and your collection of images when I visit this area, this one has turned out ok, and I'll concede it has captured the flavour of the area to some degree, but I think I'm still a long way from capturing the spirit of the place as you have. Many thanks for your vote of confidence John.

I'm choosing this photo as one of my favorites. I have come back to look at it many times. The moodiness, detail, and depth draws me in. So beautiful!

Alf,

Thanks for your comment on my damselfly. I'm glad it led me to your fine portfolio.  All your work is high quality, but this one particularly jumped out at me.  It seems I'm not alone in liking this one.

Many thanks for your vote of confidence, much appreciated. Most of my HDR images are a blend of  HDR and normally processed image, this one uses the HDR aspect mostly in the mountains to bring out detail that would have otherwise been hidden by shadow.
