A wonderful seascape Karole that brought in my mind the legend of Scylla & Charybdis (especially the right part of the image).  Take care my friend!

All said above, I guess...With this active sky in the bg you really brought home the depth of field effect. Compliments

I don't know how I missed this one Karolos, but I surely did. Most impressive. I am sure these rocks that would tear into the side of a vessel with such intensity, it truly would be damaged almost beyond repair. I love your depth of color in the water and that beautiful sky, The billowing clouds are lovely. Another wonderful example of your skill and diversity!!!!

Beautiful! kindest regards, Gail

Excellent image, Karolos...beautiful color and texture of the rocks...the cloud and the waves on the water enhance the image to a greater height...my best

Another grand effort, Karolos !!  Lovely colors.  The different shades of blue are very effective and coordiate nicely with the brownish gray of the rocks.  The sheer vertical cliff face caught my eye first.  That brought me to the real stars of the show (i.e. the clouds).

I love seeing your work.

Thanks again for sharing...

It looks like the throne of King Neptune himself, the sheer scale of it is amazing. The title is very befitting, I can't begin to imagine the problems facing ancient mariners when they come up against this in the dark!  But as Jerry indicated above, the rocks are really shown at thier most magnificent against the fantastic cloud formations. Beautifully surreal image.

Best Regards
