Could you give some lighting details for this shot ? ....................... Has been fun watching your images improve dramatically over time ................. Very well done. Link to comment
koval 0 Posted May 12, 2003 Yes , I do shot on Sensia fairly often. It is a good but not expensive slide with nice grain. The choice came from the good expirience when tring to scan series of different media types on Canoscan F4000US . This one gives interesting effects when used with COLOR MATCH ON ( function supplied with Canoscan which help to mantain original colors) without killing the details in shadows and light areas as sometimes can easly happen on Velvia. It feels also much more natural in some situations then Velvia what may not be best for all types of images however it can be apriciated on others. Thanks for you comments Ken . Best Regards PK. dmitry_gringauz 0 Posted May 12, 2003 Very eye-catching photo. I like it. The skin tones came out very well, and so did the catchlight in her eye, which adds a lot to the picture. Link to comment
steph 0 Posted May 12, 2003 I am so impressed...love this close up with great detail in her hair and catchlight. It looks like a softbox was used..is this true? Also wondered is there a function in photoshop which creates the black with white border around the shot? Love to see more of your work! Link to comment
koval 0 Posted May 13, 2003 There was a softbox used as the only source of ilumination. I use PS7 to creaye the frames by using CANVAS option. Regards PK. Link to comment
