this amazing sky happened as a front came through.. the green is hail

dropping in... it moved across the landscape like an ocean wave...

photos never do seem to approach the reality of something so liquid in

movement and grand in scale. Thank you for your time...

Frederick,  I'd run for cover.  This is a spectacular image.  This could relate to the nursery rhyme that goes, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling... go and tell the king."  I'm not sure the "go and tell the king" is accurate.  Excellent composition, restricting the land to a thin and interesting silhouette.  I can feel the moisture in that huge cloud.  The bright light underneath gives the image excellent contrast and sets up the image well.  Great job.  The image is a bit too noisy, but that is to be expected.  You might want to duplicate the image and try reducing the noise to see if the mood and effect of the image affected. Great job. Wow!  The best to you for calmer skies ahead. Larry

Spectacular!  Really an amazing skyscape.  Excellent composition, you really focused the attention on the sky and the trees and sliver of land provide the reference and scale.  Fantastic shot.  Regards - michel

Very nice stormy skies. I like the depth of field here, the accurate colors are simply beautiful. Very good shot showing a lot of emotions of a volatile storm.

That's as spectacular a sky as I've ever seen short of the Northern lights.  Just an amazing atmospheric image.  It would be good to run this through a noise reducing software.  Wonderful capture indeed!

Wow!  What an incredible, dynamic, and beautiful world we live in.  To those who think landscape photography is boring ("everything has already been done"), I can't imagine how this landscape photo would fail to impress them.  You're so fortunate to have experienced this natural phenomenon and then preserved it in a photograph.

Amazing sky!! It is a bit of a shame about the noise, but maybe you can reduce it in PS.  Anyway, dosen't detract from the fact that you captured some special power in the sky...
