Definitely arresting when viewed LARGER!. Have no idea how you did it, but those aquamarine blues have green sparkling reflection. And the curls fill in the frame sumptuously. Fine work.

I prefer the vertical...both nice though.

I prefer the square format . I think the band is a distraction , other than that I like it . Bill

Absolutely great image. I like the square format that fills the frame. Gorgeous colors. Hang onto this model - she definitely works for you. The only thing, and it's so minor, is your reflection in her eyes. Happens to me, too, and I don't have a solution. Overall, a superb image.

I like this one better than the vertical.  Getting closer for me makes her expression more engaging.  I always try for this kind of "connection" when doing a portrait.  This is a perfect example!
