My good friend Pierre,

Your  image of these busy ants is outstanding.

It is not easy to capture such small subjects that move about so quickly.

Now, I am inspired to go out and get down with the Florida ants and take some images !

All the best, Mike

Taking a shot with such clarity, focus and sharpness from ever-moving and fast ants are so difficult, but you did it very well and nice . Impressive.  Bravo.

Hamid.

Pierre, is this all what remains of your grasshopper model? Good thing that you do not use that many other, large size models; elephants, rhinos, ...  Gladiator games: modeling contract expires, off to arena you go.

Pierre,

You have captured a really great moment here. The focus is perfect and there are a lot of details in the scene. Very well done.

Thank you for sharing.

Pierre, I am simply not good enough yet myself to critque your work.  Your work is what inspires me and inspires others.  I simply enjoy with gusto all your images in their great variety.  This, like all your work takes something mundane and makes it art.

I cannot simply breeze through your pictures.  Each one makes me stop and I dive in as though they were a body of art/water and I am immersed in them.

I am your student.  You are the teacher.

I also believe the team work is given this image a great potential but again your lighting here is set to the optimum quality and so off the fine details obtained along with the originality of colors.

Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

You are a "sadist". Ha ha.  . . .  I used to watch this  event, when I where young, cache a grasshopper  and  giving to the  ants to kill  and  feast on it, where I'm  watching the  whole massacre. "bad boy-bad boy"! . . . I wouldn't do it  to day. I don't  like to see such an image, reminds me of  the life  in  bigger scale  how  brutal  and  merciless some time or  most of the time.   It is  my thought,  and  I can't comment on the image as a photograph. I become to sensitive in my old  age.

Bela, you don't think that I did it?! It was a spectacle I noticed on the terrace of my summer house and since I couldn't help the guy I just used the occasion to make a good macro with substance! It was my first digital compact and I was delighted how close up it could go!

Thank you for your comment my friend!
