I'm not a big still life fan, but I like this one.  The tone that you've chosen suits your subject well, and the texturization adds a painterly quality.  Good title, as well

Great work, Peter! Impression created - as a result of objects you used and postprocessing applied - is matching the title and works even without it. I'm not exactly sure about decision to make edges of vase disappear. I tried to understand what is happening, looked your other photos, but as a result was distracted from main idea. I feel keeping edges of vase more obvious will help. From that perspective, I would recommend to think about decreasing contrast of leaves so that apple and leaf to the left of it stand out even more. But all these are frankly minor points. This is very expressive work and one of the best images of your still-life folder. Vardan.
