Please pray and Alex, Bill, Connor, and Ian get their dog back, hopefully today. She has been missing since Sunday.

Emmy's family wants her to return home soon. So I am spreading the

word. Please pray, and critique this photograph.

It is never good when a dog goes missing.  I've only experienced it once, myself, but that was bad enough.  Luckily, everything came out okay.  I hope the same applies to Emmy.

This image you have submitted for critique has an added poignancy for me since I know Emmy is missing.  Hopefully, she is just off on a brief Doggy Adventure, and will come home soon, safe and sound.

I am sending hopeful and positive thoughts to Emmy and her family.

She has plenty of tags for anyone that sees her to call the owner, too.  I personally go out of my way, sometimes way out of my way, to stop a loose dog that's wearing tags, so I can call the owner.  Hard to believe, since everybody has a cell phone on them, that no one has called in 4 days if the outcome is good....I promise I don't mean to sound gloom....just honest.  There's plenty of bad people out there that would just keep her.  I always put, "Reward If Found" on the back of my dogs' tags, not only to get people to call right away, but to get someone who might have decided to keep one of them to defer for the reward.  Hope she gets returned safely and quickly.

Thank you for responding and for praying for Emmy.

She is probably safe as of this moring. She is in a field, hiding, and shows up at about 8 am every day. She usually wears a collar with identifying tags, but she wasn't the day she ran off. The locals are very helpful and call every day. Bill and Alex rush in the car to claim her, but no one in the tiny town is able to get near her, because she is shy, runs away, and hides. They get there in 45 minutes to an hour, and by then Emmy is well hidden again. I wrote them an email, suggesting they get to the small town before they get a call. I pray they find her and bring her home this morning.

There are flyers on every mailbox, and posters: on every street corner and in every animal shelter in the area.

My thoughts are with you and Emmy. In my work with my local shelter I see strays that have been rescued by caring dog lovers on almost a daily basis so I'm hopeful this will be her happy ending as well. Bill

Emmy hasn't been found yet. I am trying to keep up the hope that she will be found. My husband spoke to Alex today in the grocery store, and she said that people call, but she isn't sure they are calling about Emmy. Thanks for your attention.

Emmy is in Jersey, Georgia. She was spotted 200 - 300 yards away from her "parents" while they searched for her yesterday. Emmy lives 1/2 hour from Jersey, Georgia. So close, and yet so far...

Bill saw Emmy today. He said she looks good, but he wasn't able to get her to come to him. Thank you all for your prayers. The rest of the family will be there in Jersey, GA tomorrow. Please pray that they can bring her home this weekend. Thanks.

Thank you for your prayers. Alex saw Emmy sunning herself in a field in Jersey, GA, a half hour's drive from the area where she was lost, on Saturday and brought her home. (sorry for the delay in the news).

Again, THANK YOU!!
