I love the simplicity and the elegance (hopefully) of this shot. Of course it is

a little unusual.

nice capture of this young boy - would be nicer if the tone of the background was not mixing with border of his cloth or color of it

PN somehow shows images a little darker than they really are. On my desktop the cloth is not merging with the backdrop. I like the portrait.

I like it - I think the moodiness is enhanced by the darkness of the background and you really have something when you blend him in with it. The blue thing by his hand is a little distracting as it catches our attention by its color, and I am not sure if that is your intent. I would love to see a version of this without the white border around to see if it helps keep our focus on the boy. I love the distance between the hands and face and all that we are left to imagine inbetween - very well done, and thanks for sharing it with us-
