Hi, I will be glad to know your opinion.

It took me some effort to take the shot. The bird, I guess, lost it's patience

and let it happen just to get rid of me... If you know what kind of bird it is,

please, let me know. My research was not successful. The picture was taken

in Varadero, Cuba, in february.

Hi Tamara. Well he did show you his best side! My guess from uk is groove billed ani. a large blackbird type (simply) Fairly common in trees and orchards. You could send one over to us in England ... that would stir up the birdwatchers!! regards miken
