I am challenged in understanding the purpose of this photograph.

For me a nude is to look attractive, appealing etc.

Therefore when we make photos like this we make the lighting perfect / even and process for very smooth skin.  If you don't it makes it somewhat ugly.

So my view is you either make them ugly or beautiful and I feel beautiful is my choice.

Oh, eye contact with the viewer can be so powerful unless its an abstract nude which in your case it is not.   Further, people do not seem to object to looking better but they do not seem to like looking worse than reality.

Keep photographing.

The combination of the torn shirt and the backlight work well with the natural curves of this model, Lan. I very much like the way the light just brushes her breast but how you maintain detail in the shadowed areas. A very good photograph.

For me a good shot, my, I hope, new friend!
