celasun 0 Posted March 22, 2011 Beautiful abstract. The white light penetrating the fluorescent green is eye catching. And the curious one! Link to comment

wolfgangarnold 142 Posted March 28, 2011 for its colour this photo clearly stands out from your portfolio. A very clear and concise composition centering around the invisible head. Leaving the corridor on the right hand side in the frame was the right decision: it adds both rhythm and mystery (more to explore...). The title suits perfectly.A great photo (making me curious where the guy is looking at ;-))!cheers, Wolfgang Link to comment
andrea-de-bonis 6 Posted April 5, 2011 the walls, the man, all invite us to pass that door. a perfect composition and an absolutely perfect attitude of the person. not at all an abstract, but a pure and surprending street Link to comment
tonyfrench 0 Posted April 5, 2011 Volker, the seemingly simple composition is really wonderful. I love the converging triangular pathways, the window of light, and the curious man who almost becomes an extension of the pathway. I spent many hours at this museum and library when I was in graduate school, but I don't remember this particular part. Link to comment

vbirke 0 Posted April 9, 2011 Many thanks for your comments which are very helpful and encouraging.Tony: this shot was taken in autumn 2007, I do not remember whether this was perhaps part of a non-permanent exhibition, but it must have been located on the 2nd floor, most probably where they have the so-called Scaife Galleries / Lounge (I checked the floor plans).
