What a magical aura and powerful stillness illuminated by these particularly wonderful northern lights this image conveys! A great composition characterized by remarkable contrasts of the snow covered mountains and an awesome sky covered with numberless stars...

The blue hues in addition to the common greenish hues are a special highlight here - they might be due to photons sent out by nitrogen molecules returning to ground state which are known to be ionized and / or excited by very strong solar winds only.

Anyway, great work.

Wonderful Aurora here, Martin.  I like the inclusion of the mountains too. I wish I could see this one day!
