dabar 0 Posted March 10, 2011 Not surprisingly, Pierre said it for me... What wonderful memories this brings back, some of a different sort of 'picking', of blackberries in the old meadow behind a resurrected 300 year-old barn in which I and my parents spent many happy times, on a mountainside in Vermont.Thank you once again for 'taking me back to those happy times', with your art. GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 12, 2011 I feel the same way about these 'old things'.....memories of the past, but they seem comforting in a way.............I hope you see this and all is well where you live .....unbelievable events, hope you and all those you care about are safe and unharmed, I did not hear if it hit your islands very badly Dave. jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted March 12, 2011 Amazing colors and texture, the lamp reminds me of my childhood as we use this kind of lamp after 10:00PM the plant was shot down and we wonder around the house with this type of lamp! My friend goes to garbage sites and rescue these kind of things and repairs them and sells them! Thank you for sharing antiques! In Key West the tour guide say it best " Here all junk become antiques" Warm regards my friend. Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted March 12, 2011 My Dad does the same, over the years he has had some truly good 'finds'. I love things that appear old and worn. And often it is these very things that become my favorite possessions. I have and will pass them on to my children. Thank you for sharing that info with me jorge, and for taking the time to comment, sincerely, Gail Link to comment

jmcconnell2 0 Posted March 28, 2011 Hi Gail, anyone can put a bunch of objects together, take a picture, and call it "art". But not everyone, in fact very few people, can make a pleasing composition, something that everyone likes to look at. You do it very well my friend! This photo turns me green with envy. I rate this highest possible, Congrats! Link to comment
