wimputs 1 Posted March 8, 2011 Pierre, this is a great photo.Very good composition. The person is interesting, original and different. This in combination with the background works very well.I like it small more then large, because, in large, the backgroundis a bit to sharp. In small my attention goes first to the monkand then to the background. But as a said, EXELLENT photo Link to comment
dabar 0 Posted March 8, 2011 Hi Pierre! This is one of your best works, of this type, that I have seen. But... I also agree with the previous comment regarding the detail in the background.I took a close look and found that it was not so much the detail as it was the 'noise', in the form of small specks, that was bothering me.So... I reduced them... as you can see on the attached image. I compressed it quite a bit for shorter loading time...Please let me know what you think. With warm regards, Dave Link to comment

dloberg 0 Posted March 9, 2011 This image is beautifully composed. If you lean closer you will hear the Monk telling a story about the old building behind him. :-)Thank you for taking the time to comment on my work. I value your thoughts.Best Regards,Debra Link to comment
sagnikroy 0 Posted March 9, 2011 Beautiful photograph. The monk seems to be telling a story about the old church building at the background. The sepia treatment has added to the mood of the image. Regards. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted March 9, 2011 The aged man here and the background behind him makes a wonderful combination and makes this image a real appealing, the b/w is the right choice for this atmosphere and the details out of the man face are remarkable and so the details of the background contents adding a superb depth and rises the quality of this image camera set up.Thank you my friend for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.
