I like the balance in your composition.  The stream comes in on the left, goes completely over to the right edge, and then comes back to the left.  I think that "takes care" of the centered tree.  I also like the grain/noise in the sky; that helps to give this an elemental, austere look, which I think is appropriate given the components of the photo.  Very nicely done.

I like this image. The winding road gives depth. The lonely tree makes you wonder. Great work.
