Could have been a little sharper, but you get what you can, when you

can with these people shy creatures!

It's a real pleasure to watch & attempt to photograph them in the wild!

What a nice  moment! has to be seen large, beautiful details of bird and fish, (good dinner ...;-)) and not an easy catch. well executed .

nice one Jim.....i've tried to get shot's of the ones here along the huron river and at sandusky bay but to no avail...doubt i ever will since i can't afford an 800mm lens...lol....but your right, it is a pleasure just watching them

James, Fantastic catch. Who cares sharpness on the photo laike this. I'm not in nature photo but friends who are would say the same. It's hard to get an eagle that close but getting an eagle with lunch is priceless. All I can say is: Congratulations.
