So, I havent posted on here in a while, been really busy, and my new

baby boy just is now sitting up so I feel more compelled to take more

cliche baby photos and share with ou all - enjoy - any constructive

thoughts for me appreciated - shot here is pretty casual, shot with a

diffuser midday as you can see...any thoughts for improvement?

Ellery...  Wow, little bit is growing like a weed!  Good to see you back on-line.  Expressions are very hard to catch with children and/or pets, but here you have excellent expressions on both.  One is obviously happy and giving a great Ooooo look of interest; the other looks a tad bored and resigned to cooperate, if you insist :-).   Well captured and I love the little curled "monkey toes"... Thanks Patsy and Michael!!

Yeah, actually my son is quite easy to get to cooperate with photos....I can easily use things to get his attention in various directions.  The dog is trickier, and if I get her attention she always has this sorta look "oh not again".....I need to PS out her tear stains too...its really hard to keep those off of her.

Thank you for critiquing "Fred and his Kitty Toy."  I like this photo for several reasons: The boy and the dog have the same look, although different expressions. They have almost the same pose, and the boy's shirt matches the blanket. I like it very much when different elements of a photo match.

Thanks Janice!!  I didnt design "the set" here to be honest, so I will not take creative credit in the color scheme, - i did use a diffuser for better lighting (although I needed a bigger one perhaps)......Thanks for your comment very much - take care.

First of all, congratulations for the arrival of this cute young man (on the left!). I am sure he certainly is the 'best baby ever' as it is written on his t-shirt! Now, about the photo..I really like the plurality of colors, instead of just having a baby and a dog in your shot you have found an amusing and clever way to add some color. But I think the biggest success is the fact that they both look at you at the same time, wich is really difficult when you have to deal with a baby and a pet. The frame and the tonality are also very nice! My congrats!

Best wishes for all your family

yannis...THANK YOU SOO MUCH for noting the timing issue...I think it is obvious enough, but I went through so many attempts with these two to achieve both looking at the camera...I have tried all sorts of stuff with my toddler and my dog...neither enjoy being in the same frame for long at all...much less looking at the same time (not that they must look at the same time though)

What a lovely picture my friend! You captured two lovely expressions here!!!  The blanket they are sitting on with it's colorful diagonals is very appropriate and pleasing to the eye, the lit soft fall background is nice and he is the best   baby ever!!! Congratulations!

Warm regards,

Dimitris.
