jean_paul_chevalier 0 Posted February 15, 2011 After playing seek and hide for 20 minutes I got this shoot. What do you think? Link to comment
stemked 4 Posted February 16, 2011 Looks like a challenge. The bird is a touch too dark and the hotspots distracting. Because the subject is so small a little cropping might help (top and left). But it is well placed. Link to comment
jean_paul_chevalier 0 Posted March 19, 2011 Thx Douglas! I tried different crop options; I wanted to give the idea of the habitat of this little fellow though Link to comment
alberta_pizzolato 21 Posted March 19, 2011 And I admire your sticktoitiveness waiting for just the right moment to capture this beautiful little bird.I think cropping might help and I too find the image darkness contributing to an overall busy feeling. If your post-processing skills are good, I would try a B&W conversion, crops at left and right and some selective sharpening/lightening (bird's head, branch and dark area under the bird). I hope you don't mind me posting my version. It's a really nice capture that has potential to be even better with some post-processing - in my humble opinion, of course. The artist always has the last say :)Cheers ~Alberta Link to comment
jean_paul_chevalier 0 Posted June 15, 2011 Thx Alberta. Comments and suggestions always welcome when a photo is submitted to critique! The fantastic thing about photography is that you are able to see the world as happens in other people eye's. I will try a BW version...I really like yours though Link to comment
