Holger the light playing over the flowers is really wonderful. The detail, particularly on the two facing front, is great. I like the ruby part and the speckles.

Beautiful shot Holger, truly lovely orchids. They are blooming quite profusely, I've tried growing them only once, but did not have much luck, but I love photographing them at the florist and garden centres.  These are beauties!

Orchids are one of the most elegant and exotic flowers. This is a lovely image, nicely composed, with beautiful, delicate, shades of pink and magenta. I like the way the light hits the petals, the variations of light and shade. I think the curved dark leaf in front is a bit distracting to my eye, but still this is a sweet image. Best wishes, Linda

Excellent composition, Holger, due to an effective perspective and arrangement of the blossoms as the main elements. I love the contrast of the green leaves on the left versus the colorful blossoms. The DOF is also brilliant.

Not the easiest of shots, flowers in sunlight, but you have captured them really well. The image has a fresh clean aspect that I find really attractive.
