Stanislav,

I love the feeling of gentle light illuminating these little flowers, but as I looked at the picture, I discovered I never looked at the upper part of the image at all.  I experimented with it, trying several croppings and came up with the image uploaded, adjusted in tonality, clarity, sharpness also.

Beautiful! I love the softness of this image and the way the flower disappears into the fog. I like the space above the flower. For me it gives this some nice room to breathe.

NO Jerry what have you done... ???? why???

Stanislav,

you're version is perfect. the square format works very well. The color range and softness is beautiful.

do not touch or change anything.

with kind regards,

Isabelle

That's what Jerry does. Take a great image (usually mine! lol) and then perform surgery/butchery on them until they're totally ruined. This is a perfect example. In short, he does a very good impression of a man with no talent. lol

The implied "mist" behind the flower really adds to the overall magic of the image. Great composition. Very delicate image.

Dror, Trisha, Linda, David, Isabelle, Doug- thanks for your kind words, I appretiate them a lot!

Jerry- thanks for your comment and suggestion, although I must say that your version does not work for me. Let me try to explain why. To me, the softness and the light in the background are the most important aspects of the image. It is mainly about the mood, and not so much about the given flower. The flower does provide the point of interest which holds the viewers attention, but it is not the main message here. I also have a version with a crop that is close to your suggestion, called dreams of spring 1. But again, thanks for taking the time and posting your version!

Kind regards to all of you, Stanislav
