dennis_brabender 0 Posted February 4, 2011 you can see a lot of the original light grey background in her hairMight want to try a darker background or erasing a bit more in PSIf you have a brave model it's always easier to take the shot on location.... then lighting/shadows etc. come out rightor you can check out some of the city scape backdrops that are out therebeautiful model nice concept Link to comment
tore 10 Posted February 4, 2011 I like it, the street creates great deep line, the montage works for me, you can ad a shadow behind her (just make a black copy of the model tilt it down with some of the wrap functions an place it behind her in a layer under the model, ad some Gaussian blur to soften the edge of the shadow and change the blend mode to soft light take down the opacity to a value that works in the environment)Best regards Tore Link to comment
paul__w._faust 0 Posted February 4, 2011 Good idea. Good lighting. The only problem I have with the image is the light coming out of her head.I would have moved so that her head blocked it, which also would have highlightd her hair at the same time. Why can't I find alleys like this in my town? :-( Link to comment
starvy 7 Posted February 4, 2011 I like the cinematic feel but the somewhat superimposed nature of the model's presence, perhaps through lighting or artificially does not appeal to me. There is a kitschness to it that does appeal to me. The model appears as something of a comic character and in that respect the overall effect is not too displeasing. Link to comment
DawsonPointers 362 Posted February 6, 2011 Hey Joe, where are you going with that gun in your hand. I'm going down to shoot my ole lady. Caught her messin' round with another man....Jimmy HendrixI hate the portrayal of gun violence or gun love. Sick. Thoughtless. Flat out Stupid. On top of that, this is a poorly composited image. Think a bit of tit will save it, sorry Mac. 1/7 only because 0 is not an option.Guess what, I'm Canadian. Link to comment
apgjoe 0 Posted February 7, 2011 Thanks for the input to all , Her name Is Ally ,,, :) ... I worked another image added the shadow and fixed hair area THanks ,, and as far as the Gun thing, its not a big deal to me, just a fact of life for many, dont mean to offend, its plastic and squirts water. Many 5 year olds play cops and robbers with them as I am sure you did ... :) Link to comment
dmarks 0 Posted February 7, 2011 I don't think the composite works that well either.Ally just don't seem to belong in that alley.I don't really understand the thing about the gun either.Seems a lot of American photographers like sticking a gun in a womans hands when she's posing half naked. It don't really offend me though. Must be a canadian thing,us and the hate of guns. Link to comment
