tonyfrench 0 Posted April 17, 2012 Alf, thanks for pointing me to this one, it does give the best overall sense of place, particularly the way the hills lead to the edge of the water. Also I think the color certainly gives a nice sense of season. Link to comment
alfbailey 4 Posted April 17, 2012 Thanks for taking the time to look, and comment. As you can see this image makes it a bit clearer as to the backdrop than more recent postings. This was taken in the evening with the light behind me. The other aspect of the image that isn't immediately apparent, is that the mountain behind the lake is probably about a mile away from the water, but such is the efffect of compression, it looks very much closer.Best RegardsAlf Link to comment
