Jack McRitchie 150 Posted January 31, 2011 This picture comes from another era far removed from the complexities of contemporary life. It seems to spring from a simpler time when things weren't as laden with associations and freighted down with suspicions as they are today. This may have been taken just last week for all I know but the spirit that animates the picture, the innocent trust and sweetness that lights it, has largely vanished, reduced to an occasional flickering glow in the gathering darkness. In that sense, this is a rare picture indeed. But if anyone can find and capture that sense that binds us all together, it's you, Carlos. Anyone who has taken the time to look through your portfolio would attest to that. As to what I said previously, I can't remember, but I would guess it's about the same as what I've said this time round. Link to comment
wolfgangarnold 142 Posted January 31, 2011 Agree to Bulent and Jack: their innocent, honest and unconditional smiling gazes seem to be something rare and lost in our world... Link to comment
human images 4 Posted February 2, 2011 thank you boys and girl. I really appreciate your visits and words. It’s very true we old guys recognize sweet innocence when we see it – seems to simultaneously break your heart and fill it with hope. Link to comment
