Anabela, admirable creative work. Perspective and your treatment of colors  are fascinating.

I think the perspective is perfect, it gives a good idea of the scale and structure of these vessels, the heavy sepia treatment is an interesting factor, it gives the image a sense of nostalgia and an aged look that is most becoming for the subject.

Phinisi originated  from South Sulawesi (Makassar). They are known as great sailors. This taken in Sunda Kelapa harbour (?) Jakarta. Buillt in 1527.

Well Rarindra, since my school time I was sure that Indonesian Archipelago was composed of more than 17000 but now being an Indonesian telling that it is not correct I am confused...:) all I can say is that googling on it the number found for Indo islands is 17000...any help to unconfuse myself would be grateful!

Yes, this photo was taken in Sunda Kelapa harbour. I must say I have a strong admiration towards the adventurous Bugis sailors....Terima kasih :)

Your positioning of the schooners gives the feel of an exponentially increasing thrust to the right of the frame.  Lovely capturing of the similar colouring of sky and schooners.
