You have achieved an effect that is almost pointillist! Love the pink umbrellas! Very appealing "classic" image. My only suggestion would be to remove the three bright yellow objects at the top center right side of the photo. They are colorful enough to be a bit distracting and keep my eyes from following the path into the depth of the photo beyond the people.

Sandra, I noticed the problem at once when I already uploaded it and said to myself: These are autumn leaves and they belong to the overall atmosphere! And let them there! I removed them since you told me so! Thanks for your helpful critique, I clicked on yes! Ha!

There are primarily two elements of this photograph that caught my eye.  First, I really like the contrast between the young woman's clothing and the two umbrellas against the earth tones in the balance of the frame.  Secondly, your technique has given this scene an obviously impressionistic appearance.  Consider yourself right up there with the French masters!!!

This is without a doubt the finest image I've seen of yours.  Your wonderful creative digital alterations notwithstanding, this is just so superb that it trumps all of the others, IMHO.  And how appropriate that it just turned to Valentine's Day here (a little after midnight).  This image has such a classic and romantic feel to it.....very appropriate for Valentine's Day.   Bravo, Pierre!

It has an impressionist feel to it I really like. The pink also feels like a touch of spring in the autumn

I love this one, Pierre.  The effect is mesmerizing.  Almost looks 3D.  I have never seen this before.  In addition, this would be a grand image without any post-processing.
