Normally I would say that putting a face that is directed squarely at the camera should not be dead center of the image; but, so help me, this works very well. I am having trouble analyzing why. Maybe it is the complete lack of symmetry in the background with tree trunks vertical and fallen branches scattered. When I write my book on composition I hope you will let me use it.Jerry Link to comment
