Jim, a great closeup of "Buddy" in the snow.  It is well composed with good focus / sharpness.  I find snow pictures difficult to shoot, but you did a great with the shot of "Buddy".  I am not a cold weather person, so I am glad the snow is in your area of the country and not with me in Texas.  All the best, bb

Wonderful shot. These big dogs really love to play in the snow. My little Yorkie doesn't like to get her tiny feet cold.

The whole series are very impressively captured, this is to me very powerful been so close to bring out the expression of this face with such fine details and to connect us with the original climate condition and atmosphere of the place.

Wonderful work my friend, thank you for sharing it and wishing you all of the best.

Although Buddy seems quite calm about his roll in the snow; I can't help but give a smile to see this.... Mike

I feel jealous of you having this beautiful dog.

Good sharp detiles. I like how bit of his tongue is showing, this small pink point is very cute. To me look like he is teasing everyboddy and says:"see what i can do and you cant". His colour look so good on the white background.

The frosted muzzle is almost tangible, but I'm guessing we can feel it more just viewing the photo than Buddy did rolling about in it. Great shot that expression is just priceless!

Best Regards

Hi Jim,

Wonderful image and such a priceless photo. Must have been really enjoying the roll and can see in the background where it looks as though he has been rolling. Love the expression as it says Ahhh! relaxing. and really needed that.

Take care, cheers

I haven't visited this photo for some time now. Unfortunately we lost Buddy in the early part of October. It was his time as he was getting old (Unknown for certain but we think around 15 years old) but still had the desire to live life to the fullest.

At the first symptoms of a tender ear, he was taken to the Vet. It was thought to possibly be an inner ear infection of some sort with no obvious visual abnormalities. However within a short 48 hour period a large Tumor formed and X-rays indicated that he may have had more forming on the brain and it was recommended by the Vet that he be put down as he was deteriorating rapidly and starting to show signs of suffering. So the decision was made.

Buddy's celebrated life will always be shown in this image. I was fortunate to catch his true and life long personality here.

His companionship is surely missed . . .

So sorry to hear about Bobby. Know how much it hurts as I had to put down my 8 yr old Ragdoll due to a incurable virus he had n May this year. Fantastic shot you've got for all time as I have with my boy Jaffa. You can see his picture in my folder relating to our pets, not Cats and Dogs

Take care Jim

Cheers
