A nice portrait. The girl seems to be shy. Nice expression on her face. The contrast is good and gives a nice mood. Good texture in her dress. My only suggestion would be to dodge her right eye (left on the photo) a little lighter as it is dark now. For me that distracts a little.

Regards, Pim

Piotr,

Tarryn is a very pretty girl with a lovely figure. I really like her expression. She looks more undecided about something rather than shy to me? Her skin tone is very nice. You have focused well on her eyes. There is something cute about her toes curling under. Maybe she does appear a bit shy? The background is nicely neutral and Tarryn is well separated from it.

I have to agree with Pim about Tarryn's right eye. It does seem a little too dark.

She has nice catchlights, but they could be a tad brighter to give even more life to her eyes.

Her make-up looks very natural. A little more eyeliner under her eyes would help to frame them and make her eyes stand out even more.

She has a lot of headroom. You could crop a bit off the top.

This image is extremely right heavy. You want her more in the center to have better right and left compositional balance.

I don't care for the fingers of her right hand on the top of her knee. I would like to see them connected to her hand and to her forearm. They look a little odd just popping up out of nowhere.

You do not want the fingers of her left hand curled under. This is the same as cropping at a joint. It appears she could be an amputee. Avoid having the back (or palm) of the hand towards the camera. The edge (side) of the hand towards the camera is thinning, feminine and graceful. The little finger towards the camera with the fingers cascading rather than side by side is preferred.

This is obviously a studio portrait. The chair you have used as a prop is not very photogenic to say the least. It would be better for Tarryn to be sitting on a stool, or better yet, sitting on the floor.

There is something between Tarryn's toes on her left foot -- next to her little toe. It could just be a shadow, but I don't think so?

Nice shot,

Mark
