The focus, detail, and contrast, especially along the disappearing edge of the moon are all perfect.  I have only two points.  First is I would have waited for a full moon.  Second is this would look great photoshopped into another night scene.  It is a trick many photographers utilize to get that "big moon behind a landmark" shot.  Take a picture of the moon (like this one) then cut and paste it into the night sky of another picture.  When I learned this trick, it ruined the magic in all "big moon landmark" shots for me, but it works.

Hello - I agree this is a very beautiful shot!

A note on the earlier comment...
At the full moon, most of the relief and a lot of detail is lost because the sun is shining directly down on the moon from our line of sight which means there are very little shadow. So during the full moon, the craters near the edge of the night/day line would look more like the ones on the well lit parts of this phase of the moon.
Full moon shots are great, but are different than when the moon is partially in shadow.

Also, usually with a half moon the night/day line is more or less vertical. Was this near dawn or dusk or perhaps was the image rotated?
If this was shot near dawn or dusk, it must have been a beautifully clear night! The moon closer to the horizon would have been more smeary due to the atmosphere.
It would have been GREAT to see this moon shot when it was more overhead!

Nice shot!
