Mehmet, nicely composed with a good DOF. The light on the man is great, showing his intense concentration on the news. Wonderfully detailed.

Genuine expression of this newspaper reader is captured here , dr. Mehmet, which  creates an interest to explore this gentle and authentic face a bit better.Precious! A gem in your gallery which you are to be complimented for. Chapeau!

Wonderful capture Mehmet. I really like the the way you have taken this candid portrait with the beautifully blurred background. Tones are lovely too. Best wishes.

For me it is all in the colours. The depth of field is very flattering indeed but I love the vibrancy of the aged man's portrayal. I see a faint smile.

I always thought that this is a remarkable story telling image and the fainting back ground adding very interesting touch to it, I am glad it is been selected to be the POW.

Beautiful portrait of an old man, passionating reading his paper (who is Korkutamaz ? A Kurdish(?) Muslim name).
I certainly like the chosen DOF, but I find it somewhat disturbing to see the walls behind, falling in different directions. What happened in the post processing that made the walls fall apart? It cannot, as far as I can see, be the effect of a wide angle lens, unless it has been severely cropped.
All together however a very good portrait that marks.
Congratulations to Mehmet.
