rohan_jones 0 Posted April 4, 2001 I managed to frames a couple of frames before getting out of the way of the FD. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident. Quote Link to comment

2yellowdogs 0 Posted April 4, 2001 Nice. I like that you got him with the flames in the background. Quote Link to comment
j._scott_schrader 0 Posted April 4, 2001 I would have liked to see it as a horizontal rather than a vertical. I think we would have seen even more flames and probably the whole car. The fire-fighter could have been walking from the right side of the frame towards the left side of the frame, but not centered. Just a suggestion. All in all I would have to say this is a cool (or should I say HOT) shot. Quote Link to comment
yuriy y. vilin 0 Posted April 4, 2001 Looks as a candidate for Newsweek. This is nice and dynamic shot. I am not judging the composition, you did not really have time to do that. Besides, a little imperfection adds drama to the scene. Quote Link to comment
g1 0 Posted June 15, 2001 absolutely, I agree with Yuriy. Fantastic shot, highly underated so far. Quote Link to comment
jennifercatron 0 Posted January 9, 2004 This is what we call a pop shot. Shooting off a frame at the drop of a hat, with no fore thought as to what you're doing. Yep, you got a great background, but this guy is just trying to get to other side of the street... he isn't doing a thing.... Ive seen a lot of fires, and there was a lot better shot at this scene than this, I can guarantee that. I work rescue and the opportunities at a car fire are endless. Quote Link to comment
