I think this series is just brilliant, of course having a captive model must help : - ) but these are amongst the best I have seen anywhere! My only tiny nit pic is I can still see that zip, I think without that, it would add a timeless classic feel to the shot that would be beneficial.

My blues playing days are long gone, my Gibson SG lies idle in it's case, replaced by a new passion .....photography! I'd love to know what material he pllays though.

Top marks Harry!

Best Regards

Alf

The lighting really makes this portrait, with the very dramatic contrasts it introduces. Maybe I have seen too many 'cloak and dagger' movies, but I think there's an almost Medieval feel about this portrait. Again, the zip is perhaps the pointer to modernity.

Harry, he looks very dark and mysterious. The eyes are very intense. I have to wonder what he is thinking. Great work.

Harry I like the light effect over here.. Specially the mild and sharp light for intense shot of this kind.... On the other hand the model could either pose or give a intense look.. For (ex) His eye contact looks more or less to be intense and the hand seems he's trying to pose casually. Any way this is only my view.
