wallbanger 0 Posted April 2, 2001 I would have done a bit of gardening before you took image. By removing leaves. I find to much negative space at top of image. Also you have picked up some hot spots in the background. Perhaps you could have just carefully dropped petal to show more of stamen. Link to comment
william_vragovic 0 Posted April 2, 2001 Even though #2 seems a little better exposed, I liked the angle on the flower from #1. Link to comment
jonathan_ratzlaff 0 Posted April 2, 2001 From the contrast range in your images, they seem to be scanned from prints. This is too bad because the hot spots lack detail and the shadows are quite dark. I think the best exposed crocus of the bunch is the one image of the two in your portfolio. Link to comment

jess_bunshaft 0 Posted April 21, 2001 I like this shot. It could be cropped a little tighter from the top, but I like it overall. I think the leaves and such at the base of the flower make a nice contrast to the flower's color. If all we wanted was just the flower, it could be shot against a black background, whereas this picture shows it in its true element. Link to comment
