This was taken on Christmas morning 2010. Sandringham is very lose

to where I live and we get there early so we can be at the front and

hopefully get a decent photo. This is the only time in the Royal calendar

they will let you take photos on Royal property.

You did excellent work, Ian, by taking so expressively and by so close range  the Prince and  his spouse. The sunshine added to the three-dimentionality of the picture , it was a welcome I think  aid from the weather. Kudos and best regards, thanks for sharing the photo and the trivia about it.

Thank you all for taking time to comment on my photo. I know it is not a very technical image but I thought you mught like to see. Bela did you want to say sometning, ? is not very descriptive!

Unlike the photos I see on the Internet news -- this is more interesting because it feels natural. Flattering of her.  A lovely portrait.

.......... not my favourite Royal couple, but what interests me more about this image, is that you (yourself) were there to take it. Personal photos of Royalty/film stars is a rarity for most of us, so thank you for sharing one of your sought after images.

They certainly seem more relaxed here than when the journalists are after them.

Well done.

This picture is almost funny to me. Here you have a picture of Big Foot and the Lockness Monster, and they appear to just casually stare into the camera as if this was just any old couple at the park. Amazing.
