A quiet winter morning at Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. Just one CapeIslander tied up at the wharf on this overcast day. The rest of thefleet were all out pulling lobster pots.

Thanks for viewing. Allcomments, suggestions and critiques welcomed.

Michael...a very nice image.  I especially like the composition and colors.  And, your title is appropriate.  It certainly looks like a cold winter morning.

Beautiful reflections and scene.  I believe we visited Peggy's Cove way back in 1968 when our daughter graduated from high school in NY and this was a vacation just for her. We had a wonderful visit in Nova Scotia.  I enjoyed browsing through your landscape portion and will check out the rest of your portfolio at another time.

Very well composed and balanced image, and one of my favourite subjects too" Boats and harbours. The snow is a great contrast to the warmer colours of the rocks and seaweed, and the blue boat is placed nicely in frame drawing the viewers eyes to the depths of the image. Very well done!

Best Regards

Alf

This image evokes some very fond memories of a visit to Peggy's Cove a few years ago.  You've done a good job in capturing the essence of this place - peacefully beautiful as only a small fishing village can be.

My best,

michael
